What is Dual Boot?

Dual-booting is the act of installing multiple operating systems on a computer and being able to choose which one to boot.

System Requirements:


Before you start, make sure you have enough space on your hard drive for both Windows and Mac.
1)Hard disk space - We recommend at least 30GB for each.
2)USB flash drive (4GB or larger). Windows 10 bootable
3)Windows 10 ISO disk ISO image.- download here from Microsoft - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
4)Mac model support Windows 10 in Boot Camp - check this list to find out. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204990#models

Installing Windows 10 on Your Mac:

In the steps below, we'll use Boot Camp Assistant to create a bootable USB drive and install Windows 10.

Open Boot Camp Assistant:

You'll find this in the Utilities folder and search for "Boot Camp Assistant."

Click Continue:


Read Introduction and Click Continue.

Click Continue at the Introduction screen

Click Continue:

Click Continue again at the Select Tasks screen.

Select Windows ISO image:


Choose the Windows ISO image and select the destination USB drive. Click to continue - Your Mac will format the USB drive and create the Windows installation media.

Click On Install :

Each OS requires its own partition on disk.drag the divider to set the size of the partitions, or click the Divide equally button.and then click on install.

Installation of Windows 10:

The Mac will need to restart to complete the process and will automatically boot into Windows 10. Enter your language and other preferences then click Next.

Install Now:

Now click on install.

Accept terms and Click Next:

Click on Custom:

For a new install, click on Custom.

Select Bootcamp:

Select bootcamp and format partition then click next.

Now windows files copying:

Now setup will start the installation task.

Click next and install boot camp installer. Congratulations! you have success installed Windows 10.

Every time the Mac starts, you can also toggle between OS X and Windows by holding down the Option (Alt) key immediately upon startup.
